Google's current placings for .uk -v- .net/.com?

Just a quickie I hope!

I'm looking to establish a new site in Google quickly and compete into page 1 of results for certain keywords. I have the .co.uk, the org.uk (no hyphens on either) and a hyphenated .net in the 2 keyword terms for my domain name(s).

With Google's new look, without the radio button/results, i.e. 'pages from the UK' option etc, is Google placing .net and .com's above co.uk now?

Should I actively use & promote the .net even though it's hyphenated and park the .uk names on top of it, or use the better .co.uk name and park the others?

Your uks will show in uk results, your .net will show in all results.

Depends where geographically you want to appear.

As far as I'm aware it's still the same. Matt Cutts covered this on his blog recently, a .de, .co.uk etc extention presupposes that the content will be more relevant to local users, and so the site will be indexed & show in those local results rather than a .co.uk showing up in singapore, etc.

A .net doesn't really have any ties to a specific country, so I believe it's still the same.

I think
