Nominet Governance consultation event (AGM)

I was pleased to see this change from Nominet:

Following a number of member requests we have decided to extend the
deadline for the current governance consultation by one week to 9 May
2007.

We have also decided that we shall host a panel discussion on the issues
within the consultation to seek further member feedback after lunch at
approximately 1:30 on the same day as the AGM (2 May 2007) at the same
venue. We invite those of you who wish to discuss the matters raised to
attend and give us your thoughts. If you are planning to attend this
event or the AGM then please email us your confirmation to
[email protected]

Therefore I suggest any registrars/members that can get to www.radissonedwardian.com/manchesteruk_edwardian on the 2nd May do go.

Even if it is just to ask why they want control of registration and membership fees!
