I have never been so impressed with service in my life , bought a pc chair from Office Chairs (Leather), Executive Seating, Ergonomic Computer Chairs , [ i'm disabled and awkward in a chair ] ,over a year later managed to break a castor , emailed shop and recieved 1castor and 1 spare free as goodwill , now 10 month later , same thing happened and the owner is sending same again.....now nothing wrong with chair [looks brand new ] fault is mine ''climbing '' into chair , so please , a business that quietly gives that sort of service deserves any business you can put their way [ and prices / selection great ]
Any other biz with that sort of service deserves a post for others to use.....zee
 
When I was a bit younger and really into mountain biking there was a company called DMR that were alot like this.

Still to this day is the best experience ive had. You would ring them up directly (your items were purchased in bike shops) and tell them one of your parts was damaged and they would just send you out a new one without asking for any details or a return of the broken item.

I once was fitting one of their parts to a new bike so it needed different size metal spacers and bracket. I rang and asked them if they had the parts and how much it would be and they just said dont worry about it, we will send you them in the post for free!

I think I've mentioned this before on here but I once had one of the retaining clips that holds the fan to the heatsink on my CPU snap, anyway I sent an email to CoolerMaster in Holland asking if I could buy another clip, didn't hear anything from them, and then lo and behold a package arrived containing not only the clip but a brand new fan and heatsink, the retail price at the time was about £20.

So for me the best customer service is CoolerMaster, the worst has to be shared between 123-reg and UK2.net.

Ive found that once you have experienced it, applying it to your own business is very rewarding! Word of mouth is a very powerfull tool when you treat your customers like kings! :)
 
same goes with domain deals ,if problems with one you trust over domain transfer / reg and told it will sort out , you are inclined to trust that person and wait.
 
I ordered a new 28" 1920x1200 monitor from a company (Zebra Store) through Amazon.co.uk that said in Stock, alledgedly posted 25 or 26th, on the 27th while looking out for it I got an email to say there would be a delay of 3 more weeks and it wasn't posted would I like to continue.....no

So I went to Misco.co.uk at 4.30 PM yesterday and ordered the monitor from them, it arrive this afternoon and I am using it now, superb efficiency.
 
I have just recieved castors as promised.
