I'd be very grateful for an opinion on:-

greatbarrierreef.org.uk (9,000 Exacts on local)

Bag of pants, or worth something ?

Should I :-

1: Try to rank (top 10 looks very tough to beat) and then wack in some travel related affiliate links

2: Flog it

3: Put it down to experience. (must try harder next time......)

My first attempt, so go easy on me eh.

Welcome to AD - pop over to the Introductions forum too buddy, and give us an intro too

What goes through my mind is that I probably couldn't just flip the domain as it is, but rather it was one to develop now, seeing as you've bought it, and use backpacker/holiday affiliates and/or adsense maybe. Be a shame to give up on it straight away.
Just my newbie tuppenceworth...

I'm interested to see what the more experienced members think though, just for learning purposes, as I noticed this was FTR (free to register) the other day.

Thanks for the welcome.

As you can see from the WHOIS, I only purchased it this morning

Feel it might have been a mistake though. Just looking at that top 10 in SERPS is mostly PR 5-6 with very mature domain ages.

Perhaps it is one to set up, through a few backlinks at and let mature?

I too would be interested to here a more experienced opinion.

I personally wouldn't have registered it - not in the org.uk. thats not to say somebody with some real 'conservation' interest in the area couldn't make it work.

No resale value as a domain only thats for sure
