note: we tried getting Prashanna to the recent Domain Summit Europe 2025 in London - his visa application sadly got rejected :/ .. I am already preparing on getting this done for the next year no matter if the next Domain Summit Europe 2026 is in the UK or some other European capital. I know that some teams, like @nameshift were interested meeting him in person and talking integrations and further collaboration ideas on the technical side. Next year!!

.. just a process to be approached more stretegically.

.. for occational reader: a number of visa applications were rejected for our attendees (and even for 1 of the speakers and a real c-level exhibitor). this is an obstacle all the international event organizers have when organizing events in the UK. At the same time, we (event organizers) take a stand that we are not travel agencies = try not getting involved in these processes (apart from granting occasional invitation letters to our events).

.. many countries are much easier to get visas than the UK, which is not the worst thing in the world, especially when considering national interests. .. in our case it was a loss as a number of companies (that work with our forums) did want to meet Prashanna in person. .. it's ok > next time
