Has anyone heard of Insulated Concrete Framework (ICF) in the building industry.

Just regged the ridiculously long URLs in the hope that they will be becoming a big thing in the UK in the next few years.

On another note, it actually looks like a good alternative to regular bricks and mortar for when you're building or extended a property.
In a nutshell they are polystyrene bricks that you connect together like lego. When you're happy with their location, for your extension you fill them with concrete while they're in place.

Anyone heard of them? Looked into it? Had any practical use of?

Hi,

A quick search of google shows that it is more commonly known as

"Insulated Concrete Formwork"

I'd go register that one also.

I didn't take any and now can't see the blocks!

Was like a big jigsaw and looked quite easy to do. The special concrete was expensive but can now park my car on top of it so pretty stropng stuff!
