Hi everyone, I'm Konrad, originally from the Netherlands but have been living in the beautiful Lake District for the last 15 years or so. I started a digital marketing agency not long after arriving - www.sparkdigital.uk which I sold a few years ago to focus on my own website www.romanticretreats.co.uk which I run as a one man band so I end up doing a bit of everything on it.

I've always had a soft spot for domains, mostly for that next great project that I will develop, but unfortunately there are only so many hours in the day so most end up being shelved, at least for now...

With the .uk's coming available I couldn't help myself and registered a number of them, some for myself (more great projects! ) and some to market.

Looking to spend some more time on the forum to learn the ropes of the domain trade, especially how to put a value on a domain etc.

It's a small world! I used to live in Kendal, now just down the road in Levens love it here (apart from the weather but it's been pretty good recently!)

I just spent the last week trekking around the Lake District... Buttermere, Rydal, Rayrigg, Up old man of Coniston, Windermere, Ullswater, and Ennerdale Water.

Was blown away by the place. Lucked out hard with the weather, but really couldn't believe that this is the same England... considering most of my time is spent in London...

I've got a soft spot for the Lake District and I made many a happy memory camping near Rydal Water in my youth. I walked up Scafell Pike the wrong way a couple of years ago, which is also a happy memory, because I didn't die.
