Hi guys, I got this email showing interest in my websites, however asked me to do an appraisal report first.
Which free appraisal sites would you guys suggest?

and there he apparently suggested me to use which is not free
Services for domain and web site sellers and buyers.

is it some sort of scam?

It is a well known scam. The next email will ask you to use a specific (paid for) appraisal...
