hi guys, i have just stumbled across a tempting domain..

right the kwp is two words,

the kwp is a brand name and then the product item for example NikeShirt (this isnt the domain by the way)

it has 40k Exact searches and 246k broad matches...

it is perfect for affiliate site, as item avg price is about £50/$80+

.net is free

the second domain/kw is

the same thing but with womens in the middle e.g. nikeWomensTshirt

this gets 110k broad searches and 60.5k exacts!!!

.org and .co.uk are free

what do u guys think????

should i bother with these???

any affiliate site you set up on these domains would be against T&C for every affiliate programme I've ever seen, so more than likely "Nike" etc would have you banned from whatever affiliate system you were using, and you'd lose all earnings etc. also if you sell "Adidas" on your "Nike" site you can be done for passing off.

I wouldn't bother. Why not just get yourself a non-TM infringing domain with decent search volume instead and develop that?

Wouldn't bother, the site will never have any real value as it's a TM and you could be asked to close it down at any moment. As soon as you start doing any volume of sales they will find out, trust me.

Plenty of names out there with high exacts, just takes research.

One thing I've learned in life is you dont get if you dont ask, ask affiliate manager if they mind you using brand or product name in a domain to solely advertise their wares in an affiliate set up.

Personally, I always stick to pure generics, like mens shirts. There are plenty of opportunities to be had registering generics, and you won't get into potential costly action against you that way.

Rgds
