Hi, can anyone offer advice?

This site, collectablefish .com, will v. soon need to be moved from current host to another. It has a php/mysql database. I have the site code but need advice as how to preserve the db, i.e. how do I copy it ready to drop onto new server?

can anyone help / offer services to do this?

thanks,

Howie

From the site it looks to be a small ~1Mb db and static images.

Shouldn't be too difficult. phpmyadmin should handle the db without much hastle and ftp should managed the images.

Let me know if you struggle. I've done it multiple times for other sites. Small charge.

If you have cpanel & your new host does then it's possibe to do a straight transfer through that.

I use navicat which makes it easy to drag and drop stuff between servers / databases / tables (once the settings have been added.

But if it's a small project you probably don't need it.
