Hi:)

I'm new new to Acorn so I'll follow tradition and give you my best and worst domains. thirdpage.co.uk is doing great on SEDO but Adult is not really my bag so it's going to be up for sale. If you are interested please let me know.

My worst is circletool.co.uk. Why did I buy it? It's getting loads of uniques on SEDO but no clicks, I can't seem to find the right category, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

Thanks

:-D

Welcome to the forum...

put circletool.co.uk in the wayback machine, you will find:

Code:
CircleTool is a small and easy to use windows application which will help its user work out the area of a circle, the circufmerence of a circle, the surface area of a sphere, the volume of a sphere, the area of a segment and the perimeter of a segment. I often describe CircleTool as "A simple mathematical tool for calculating various functions related to circles".
CircleTool was originally a DOS based program written in the Pascal programming language, the last DOS based CircleTool was CircleTool 3.0. When CircleTool reached version 3.0, it was finished as nothing had to be added to it and all its functions were working correctly. However in 2004 i began learning Visual Basic 6 for applications and began to make a Windows version of CircleTool. All CircleTool versions above 3.0 are Windows programs.
I originally started work on CircleTool as a way of learning how to programme in the Pascal language and after that it became a hobby. Now CircleTool is something i do for fun and to practice learning how to programme in various languages.

System Requirements
CircleTool is a very simple program and so will run on any modern day processor and so its requirements are not worth mentioning. However CircleTool does require that your Windows installation has the VB6 run times files. If you have Windows XP or 2000 then you will already have the latest versions of these files, but if you have an older OS then it is recommended that you visit Microsoft Website for updates.

I'm not sure how you can monetise this...

LOL... Admin.

One of the reasons I didn't bother snapping it up at the drop...

Truth is, it can be monetised but, the road to travel isn't an easy one....

Already PM'ed Allu on how best to do it from experience gained on similar domains, as I can 'appreciate' the initial frustration it can cause...

Oh the joy's of learning curves...

Thank you very much for this. As you say difficult to monetize but food for thought!
