I know I'm committing a cardinal sin here by interfering on your thread, but have been marketing some .com's lately and hope to be educated.
If my post offends tell me immediately and I will edit it out.

You have for instance got zentha.com in your list for $499

If you can for instance register zigral.com today for $10

why would anyone buy Zentha

Am I missing something ?

Sorry, I didn't notice your response in the thread. Domain value is subjective for the most part - more so for domains of a more brandable nature. Why would ANY short brandable sell for anything more than registration fees if someone could just register an available one? Because they obviously feel that the already registered one they're buying is either of a higher quality or fits better for what they need.

On the flipside, since Dudu.com sold for $1 million, does that make other similar 4-letter domains worth a million too? Obviously not.

That's why domains can be so difficult for some to grasp. There's often not much rhyme or reason to domain values to an outside observer. I can tell you that to me, Zentha is considerably better than Zigral for branding purposes, but it would be hard to explain why except to say it sounds more professional and maes use of more commonly used sounds. I personally believe it works best as a drug, possibly an anti-depressant given the "Zen" in the name, but the beauty of names like this is that they're openly interpretable.

Hope that helps.

Edit: Forgot to update - YourCompanion sold and the rest are still available for these prices for 2 more days.
