yup, saw earlier
he is a nice enough guy but laughable decision

that is if they appoint him, they are in talks

maybe they want to see if Harry will drop wage bill by seeing they don't have to pick him

also I would guess Roy doesn't have nearly as many skeletons as Harry in his closet lol
that said the media will find everything on anyone

Agree, nice enough guy but lacks the charisma, quirkiness and presence to get the best out of highly strung, wealthy testosterone filled young men. Does seem like an odd "potential" appointment?

Maybe it's about the FA being able to bully the manager and I don't think they would get away with it with the likes of Redknapp.

Ah well plenty of HT/FT bets for me in Euro 2012 so not all bad.

I am actually far more concerned about the team
a bigger bunch of tossers would be hard to find
lazy, overpaid and without the british bulldog mentality

there is not one player in our team that when they pull on an england shirt gives it their all or excites me

He's got a track record at International level of turning a bunch of no-hopers into potential tournament hopefuls.

So good appointment IMO.

The Rednapp stuff was media hype that turned into mass hysteria. If you judged him on the last 1/2 of the season he wouldn't be on the shortlist!

Hodgson reminds me a bit of Bobby Robson. He may not be 'charasmatic' but look where charisma has got us!

Based on CV he's the best by miles. Even with the Liverpool fiasco which was more Liverpool's issues than Hodgson.
