@Ediwin with the us of adword you will see that there are so many broad keywords searches one can concentrate on, From cheap flights to jobs and hotels. Further the domain extension being a .co.uk does not mean you will rank in UK alone. You can as well rank in USA, Austraria and more.
In Example Acorndomains is ranking well even in USA in some good keywords
But all of that is nothing to do with actual domain value.
Don't confuse value you'll create compared with domain value already there. Domain value derives from the name and only the name.
Any SE rankings, leading to traffic (and I assume revenue) are besides the initial value of the name. That value comes from your effort and/or cash and could be applied to any similar domain.
As it's not a nice brandable, nor will it get type ins, I'd assume the only purpose would be credibility. On the basis that lonely planet & .gov are on the 1st page, I think that is out the window too (I don't think it would stick out like a sore thumb though).
Google search & GKWP are both good tools. If you type in your keyword, it suggests (towards the top of the list for both) "time" and "weather" - they are not money keywords.
As an example, I check the time in US states as I watch the AMA Supercross Online at the weekends (different state each week) . It's more likely people are looking to Skype their family, or following sporting events online like me maybe.
Weather wise - I'd assume if they are checking the weather, they have already purchased a ticket - maybe they are seeing the weather throughout the seasons to decide - not sure.
