I've bid on a very nice expiring domain thru Snapnames, it is now in auction with 5 other bidders with a 3 day limit.

If I logout and search for the domain name it says it is in a closed auction which cannot now be entered. Does this mean it's a 6-way auction?

The T&C's are confusing  so was wondering if anyone here had recent experience of Snapnames and could confirm. I can't remember it working this way.

From memory you can only pre book names before they drop, once dropped, it can't be booked hence closed and then to auction if someone else booked it, so six booked it including you.

Thanks, well a 1 in 6 chance then :D

What do you reckon to the value, the domain is blurays(.)net?

Without any reflection on the name, my limited experience of a dozen or so, leads me to believe the yanks with big pockets favour the .com and almost ignore the .net so you may get a good price on it.
