When I can be bothered, and even when i can there is no way I could do an 8 hour day!! those days are long gone.

Definitely an interesting poll.

I tend to try and work a fixed 9-5, Monday to Friday. Invariably I'll end up doing the odd hour or two in the evening and at weekends too.

It's nice working for yourself though and being able to take an hour or two, a half day or a full day off as and when you feel like it. :)

Not so great having to take the laptop away on holidays to answer support emails though. :(

defo 10+ with my 2 physical businesses then theres this affiliate lark, but not in the 15+ hours a day lark, thats just simply stupid and i bet if you broke your earnings for the day by the hours you worked it wouldn't be worth it.

I decided to only count "real work" rather than "hours spent at the computer" as they're ultimately VERY different things...

Very good point. Right now I'm answering emails and ordering some content... you could arguably call it working but realistically I'm watching UFC 129 and occasionally checking other stuff while I do it :)

I really need to try and cut down my time online, without cutting down the amount of work I get done.

The computer is on 24/7 and the phone is with me receiving emails so in that respect it never stops, its made worse as I am in Australia in a different time zone, I stay up very late to catch up and make necessary phone calls. Looking forward to the return home shortly, I might regulate myself. I do spend alot of time with my son, family always comes first.

VERY good point, and when I worked out the "real work" and went to vote I noticed it was the same as yours.

I am shocked at how much time I spend on the computer vs how much "real work" I do ! :(

When I get up it takes me a good two hours just to go through my emails from the night before.. thats before I even start work :(

Not work related, but I got seriously hooked playing an online game called World of Warcraft a few years ago.

I'm now 'clean' of my warlock :D

But I do admit, from time to time, I look at my wifes jewelry and wonder if that ring or necklace gives her +6 stamina when equipped

The choices are a bit indifferent... I don't work 15+ hours a day (well, as infrequently as I possibly can), but I tend to frequently work for longer than 10 hours a day.

If there was a choice of 10+ hours a day, that would be me, so I had to choose 10 hours. :D

I'm the same, I work about 9 hours per day in my development job for a company, then about 5 hours each day afterwards doing private development jobs. I ticked 15+ but probably about 14 hours work per day would be more accurate.

My day starts at 7am ish when I wake my boyfriend up for work...do chores and stuff around the house before leaving for my day job at 8:40am (8 hours work total)...then if I don't go to the gym after 5:30pm I go home, cook dinner and do my own stuff and freelance stuff until about 11:30pm (probably another 3-4 hours). If I do go to the gym I only tend to get 1-2 hours of my own work in. My life is so much fun!!! Lol.

Weekends are a bit different because I'm usually off doing socialising stuff, but on 'free' weekends, in between the food shopping, shopping, eating out and house cleaning, I usually don't do my work before 10am, and then I'll work on and off all day and through the night to about 2am. Usually it's design work that keeps me up that late though, if it's coding or writing I tend to stop about 11pm.
