Wanted: Domain Appraisal How much for a 1999 domain name which is PR5

[stokelake]

Hi,

How much do you think a domain like this is worth:

7 letters
Was a popular website in computer programming
.com
PR5 - currently on a single holding page
1190 external links
Links from PR6, PR5, PR4, PR3 pages
Links from over 300 different sites

Thanks a lot.

Very hard to judge without knowing the domain itself. I would go more on the traffic it gets than the number of backlinks.

hi,

the domain name isn't great it is an old programming laungue. So it more valuable as a source of links, ie. 301 redirect it into a computer related domain.
