How to make money with domains...

Hi All,

Is there really a living to be made from parking .co.uk domain names? What about if starting out today?

If not parking, then what about buying/selling? I see from an earlier post that regular posters buy plenty and sell comparatively few. It seems like an unpredictable source of income.

I can see a bit of pin-money for most new starters, some reasonable money for the few very experienced domainers, and lots of domains becoming available in two years' time (including plenty of mine!)

Any views?

Well, you can't just go out and register freely available domains and expect to make a lot of money. If you do your research and buy domains on the resale market you can be successful.

What do you do with the domains once you have bought them on the resale market? Do you resell to a targeted buyer? Park and monetise traffic? Develop a site? Or something else?
