Im looking for a new book to read on HTML / CSS, I am not a complete noob to either of these areas so would like some along the lines of intermediate to advance level.

I have been down to my local Waterstones and WH Smiths and cant seem to find nothing that suits.

I know i can read all what i need online but i like something i can read in bed or whilst traveling.

Thanks in advance, Darren.

I would suggest the SAMS books... I think they are very good...

The 'in 24 hours' books are good for quick reference and give a good overview and the 'in 21 days' get pretty in depth for some subject matter...

I would recommend these 2

CSS Mastery: Advanced Web Standards Solutions: Andy Budd, Cameron Moll, Simon Collison: Amazon.co.uk: Books

Transcending CSS: The Fine Art of Web Design Voices That Matter: Amazon.co.uk: Andy Clarke, Molly E. Holzschlag, Aaron Gustafson, Mark Boulton: Books

The other thing that is usefull is to read the W3 specifications for CSS, they are a bit mind numbing but usefull to know why something behaves like it does in CSS not just how to do nice layouts.

There doesn't seem to be any advanced CSS books out there but i think really like any language the best way to learn it it to actually do it as often as possible.

Thank you all so far, please keep them coming.

I have just ordered "CSS Mastery: Advanced Web Standards Solutions".

I think i will order this one aswell once ive completed this book.

"Transcending CSS: The Fine Art of Web Design Voices That Matter".

Thanks, Darren.
