I personally would go for the co.uk but what do you guys prefer?
hyphenated co.uk or org.uk without the hyphen
hyphenated co.uk or org.uk without the hyphen
but its a pain using a hyphen if you need customers to remember it.
I have looked at names with hyphens, I will buy one in a tight niche were I know I can rank but would be weary if competition is fierce as I think the hyphen is a disadvantage. If you plan on development and have the skills then I would not be against either domain.
On a recent foray into names I came across:
swimming-costumes.com 12,000 globals 9900 exacts cpc 0.93
At the time of writing it's still free to reg, if it goes anytime soon then we know people are not against hyphens. If you do take it make a donation to admin!

Aiden
Think I'm going to have to take a break from this forum, it's just too tempting to buy some of these domains, haha!
That's weird that only 91 people search it in the US.
I haven't dealt with too many sites that are focused on the UK to be honest (most of mine are more towards the US) but I've seen plenty of domains with hyphens (including more than 1!) ranking just under some of my sites that are on page one. And that's not because they've got loads of backlinks either.
