i have a site on storeburst that gets roughly 1500- 2 thousand visits a month.
its not earning anything to talk about.
i can stick it on a white label program with a big player for this product but im not sure if white label is the way to go? anyone have any luck with any white lables? how do they do in the search engines etc?
or is make my own site still the best way to go?

many thanks chaps

I would set your own site up. I had a football shirts site on storeburst that did make sales every now and again. I moved to my own wordpress site with easy content units and it is peforming much better (at least 10 sales a month).

The problem with storeburst is that it doesn't have an attractive call to action button and often images are missing ('image not available'). You should be seeing some sales after 1,700 visitors! Even a sale in every 100 would be disappointing.

A different approach may be to include your own text links and banners above the products.

Well, I shouldn't talk because my own Storeburst sites are crap, but I can see what's wrong here, without binoculars -

There's no serious advice offered. A box of few words about the colours of football boots (and old boots were mostly brown, not black) and no comments about the 60s view of Italians playing in "ballet slippers" - oh yez, I'd be out of here like a dose of salts!

Don't get me wrong, I've never been a serious footballer, but I have played 5 a side against some occasional internationals with my cousin Dennis and his mate Peter (both of whom played for Bradford City when they were desperate), and I know how their tiny minds work - they like to be impressed by knowledge that is beyond their ken. Get them impressed, and you can sell them anything (in the case of our Dennis, you could sell him the Dartford Crossing after 3 pints, as long as you only ask for the money he has "on him"!).

You need an authoritative article or two on there to get people making positive decisions about what they want to buy. The bits on there don't help them make a decision - then they are faced with the vast choice of available options.

Oh all right, before you ask, I admit some of those internationals I played with, and against, were darts/rugby/rowing internationals ...

cheers crabfoot.
i desperatley need some decent words to put on there but as i HATE football and know nothing about football boots its a struggle.
anyone know where i can grab some info on different types of boots ie: hard/soft/astro and the benefits of each type?
