Registred in 2006, maybe you can keep it, the trademark application is new, DON'T approach Apple though because you might just lose it.

Set up a site selling cotton buds and not Apple products and then hope they approach you.

Value is reg fee till they offer you cash

Honestly didn't realise about the apple thing, I thought it was a generic term for headphones! Reg'd it myself in 06.

With it being an exact match someone may buy it to sell Apple products, but I doubt Apple themselves would buy it from you which will limit the sales price (there are plenty of similar domains which they haven't bought including 'imac' and 'iphone' to name just two). This could of course change though, so it's worth holding on to until a nice offer comes along.
