This guy looks pretty good

I know the real owners of that design and he has ripped it off badly.

They are called strawberry soup and the owners are really great people.

My webdesigner said he read an online tutorial on how to do it and he coded it from scratch, he would even show you the website which shows how to achive a colour changing background the exact same way?

He also said there were atleast 10 other sites he has seen with almost the same back ground changer, its a very typical web design site.

Anyway i have removed it,

I know how to achieve that same background effect - its a simple effect. However the replication of 1 effect is 1 thing, the replication of an entire site is another.

He may of coded it from scratch but there is no denying his design is that of strawberrysoup.

Im really glad that its removed and that is more than some do! Happy to edit all posts concerning this to remove any bad press as such

Looks like a straightforward modified WP template to me. How difficult can it be to change colours? If I were Sean, I'd have the hump with that Ashton. Big time. You have a lot of front calling Sean out like that.

My designer said i should of left it up hes a member on here and runs his own web design company, it was all done from scratch

I told him how i wanted it, with background changing colour.

I had a call from strawberry asking me to take it down before they start issueing a copyright letter.

it was only 10% done anyway.

It was a similar design but a lot of the elements were different.

I'm sure if you compared the code for both sites it would be easy to see if it had been ripped or not.

You saw it after it had been removed. Had you compared beforehand then you would have seen how similar they are.

There is no question in my mind that they are the same design, your designer has clearly seen strawberry soups brilliant design and has taken a lot of inspiration from it.

That site was not designed from scratch, nearly everything was the same - only a few tweaks. Coded from scratch yes, but designed no.
