Some great plates.....I think my favorite is H1 on an old Rolls. which obviously just says Hi .

It's a great trip down memory lane with some of the old cars, and I am surprised at how many of the plates I have seen personally over the years.

I saw this one in a service station the other week. I was parked up eating a sandwidch and looked up in the rear view mirror, saw the car... then had a second look. Very clever (obviously when viewing it not in a mirror it doesn't make any sense).

I remember seeing 2 dolly birds driving a Ford Granada estate (yes it was years ago) early one Sunday morning with the plate A1 - think it was the first ever plate - the car had Dunlop stickers all over it.

On my way to school I used to see a car with U2 - that was in the 80's when the band were just getting huge.

I did list this elsewhere. Paid a grand for it, never got round to putting it on a vehicle. Good to let it go for that (+£105 DVLA transfer fee) or W.H.Y. ?
