Hi Guys,

how does it work when a keyword has a . in it? I have found a keyword where part of it is two numbers with a . in between. eg 1.1

Obviously I cannot register a domain with the . in it, but if I was to register just the numbers without the . would I be missing out on searches with that domain?

There are over 165,000 global searches and 12k local for the term with the . and under 100 without.

for domains without, the .com,info,net and org are all gone. The .co.uk and the .co are available.

What would you do?

personally wouldn't bother but only way round would be a subdomain

so if search was 1.1domain for example
register 1domain if available, and make subdomain before it when setting up on hosting to make 1.1domain . whatever
