any ideas whats causing this?? Doing my head in!!

Also means it could be send in a language like chinese and you don't have the appropriate language pack or encoding info.

I haven't touched anything, so must be an update that happened last week ( i think) bloody thing

If your a Mac user, I best get the domestos on that domain i bought off you, it may have 'maccies', which is like cooties only for mac users :p

You know considering how viscious Apple are at defending their copyright/tm, what pisses me off is that they BLATANTLY jacked *nix and claimed it as their own. So I pee pee on your mac (if you have one) :p

Have you been able to read emails form this person before ?

Have you tried reading in a different mail client ?

Are the emails replies ?

My iPhone (for the brief time I had it) sent emails in base64, which read easily read by most systems but when the system (person i sent to) replied it converted it to Unicode, which I could read fine, but then My machine (laptop) would convert to UTF-8 and they used to be either unopenable by hotmail/yahoo or random symbols inc ?'s in outlook.

Could it be cross encoded ?

ha ha Grant, yeah this is the problem. Thought it was odd as it started a week ago. Cheers for finding that - sorted..... FOR NOW!!!
