I have the 2G, havn't upgrade because of the issues on the new one

iv just got my son a 3gs (just listening to the police scanner)
i have a blackberry (cant beat it)
gave my x10 (android) to the wife

Does the police scanner work on it ?

I installed it and it said it was for the US only ?

With the blackberry theirs no simplicity in terms of installing apps

Went to the O2 shop today had a look at the iPhone 4, not impressed with the speaker for the music not loud enough lol

you can't scan uk police forces as their radios are encrypted.

Make sure you check the coverage maps if you want to make sure you can get 3G

scanner is for us,austrailia etc /air/marine/police etc but only amature radio in the uk

iPod Touch, was so close to getting an iPhone 4 from Tesco who offer by far the cheapest/shortest contract but got so p****d off with the ordeal they caused and the messing around decided to keep my money, maybe next year.

i havent sync'd my ipod for ages but the aging best of lynard skynard was getting a little boring. . .
but now i remember why i havent done it, itunes or the interface with ipod on a PC is shocking. I've unplugged rebooted about 30 times tonight a nothing will detect this friggin ipod. I've been forced to install itunes and even that isnt picking it up properly but now i have quicktime and all the other bundled icrap programs, the install asked me to shut down outlook???? - why the f does it interfer with outlook? its meant to play music!!! when the ipod is attached the whole system grinds to a halt.

Still no joy - apparently the answer is to find an old xp machine with an old version of itunes on and then upgrade the ipod itself from there first.
