That's 2 years away since they launched the original. I wonder what else will be available in 12 months time?

I think it's a great phone but I just don't understand why they didn't put a decent camera in it. A major failing and a no brainer to me.

Best phone on the market with the worst camera in its price range.

What were they thinking of? I wonder what sales would have been if they had slapped a (what is now standard) 5 megapixel camera into it?

2 megapixels, what a joke. Everthing i have read on the net and seen on the tv shoots it down for its (lack of) camera.

I love the phone, but would never buy one at present as a camera in the phone is a big deal to me. I bought an N95 instead and love the images.

When it's time to upgrade, will I buy one then? All depends what else is on offer but I have to say at the present time Samsung seem to have the edge.

Camera quality doesn't bother me. I usually have my SLR with me anyhow

Iphone 3G has been available since 16/09/2008 on PAYGO.
I bought one on the day it was released. Don't really understand this thread are you suggesting it has only just been released on paygo?

Best phone I've ever had, rarely if ever use the camera so it does everything I want, wouldn't be without it.
