So I found a domain that was listed, clicked purchase.

It then gives me the sellers details to get in touch to arrange payment.

The "Seller" says he isn't even a member of the site and he hasn't owned the domain for a while...

Yes, flip.uk is 100% legit. Originally created/founded by @lazarus (Colin) and later acquired by @Ryan Ewen. Both based in the UK.

Flip is a P2P marketplace where buyers & sellers transact directly so we do not verify or check domains and have no involvement in the payment side of things.

It wasn't so much that, it was that he claims he doesn't own it now and isn't a member on the site...
