I don't want to seem like a miserable old git but two things that have been bugging me for while..

1. people banging in full urls of domains straight in sales threads e.g. microsoft.co.uk

If i'm looking to pick a cheap bargain basement domain or even something a bit better theres nothing more irritating (for a number of obvious reasons) after googling it and seeing G's cached it - its sad I know but its putting me off buying straight away, sellers need to realise they're ruining the magic my doing this.. Sellers if you want people to spend a few hundred quid on a keyword domain at least list it properly (i'll be the first to admit ive listed domains in this way in the past before admins drop down :D)

2. Peoples names and personal details being plastered all over the whois pages etc

I think its a little bit off sometimes the number of users here publicly snooping and drilling down to find info about people and companies here. I understand most just want to get hold of to buy a domain but have they considered there might be a reason contact details are so hard to find for these people? - obviously we can get a rough idea via whois etc but I just want people to consider the consequences of continually drawing perhaps unnecessary attention to inviduals...

aaprt from that its all good!

also if people report it the mods wll remove it

Couldn't agree more with this comment. Personally, I'd like to see the sales forums made totally private, with search engines blocked from indexing threads.

That would be brilliant.

I don't want to put anything in the bargain basement no more because it all gets indexed, there's no pull down.

Would be nice as total private but doubt Admin would want that, who wants their site to go unnoticed

I'm going to agree with point number one. Numerous names I have enquired about are cached by google, it puts me off buying straight away especially if the domain was to be used as an end product.
