I have just spoken to the NFPA people.
They are getting many phone calls - please do not phone.
They are aware of the situation and are moving the site.
An email notification with login instructions will follow within the hour.

Hi Guys

Just had this:

Good Morning,

Owing to an overnight outage on our internet connection, we have moved
the auction over to our alternative site. The auction site is now
available at http://www.nfpas.com/auctions/nominet/inetlog3.cfm.

Your username and password remain unchanged.

The auction will open as usual at 10am UK time.

If you have any problems, please contact us on 0191 245 7330.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Best Regards,

NFPAS Auction Team

Mark

Just had this as well guys:

Please be advised,

That until further notice the email notification that you usually
receive when you have placed the highest bid, or, when you have been
outbid is currently unavailable.

We are working on this problem and will provide an update to this ASAP.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Kind Regards,

NFPAS

At some point I could see code as they must have been debugging the beast
Quite unprofessional imho.
Overall I don't like the auction setup. Their site is poorly designed and you can't see the handles of the users you're bidding against. I wish the auctions were more transparent.
