I read in a previous thread about the .SCO etc that someones backing a .LDN for london this has got to be a joke.. :mrgreen:

where will it end...? I want a .man becuase I live in manchester & .dor becuase I live in Dorset etc.

might this .ldn begin to dillute the system?

Wouldn't it be .eng rather than .ldn?

Is Scotland not a part of the UK anymore?

Hopefully it won't be taken seriously by ICANN. IMO it would confuse matters further and would be another extension which would not meet predicted takeup. I also agree with your comment about causing even more dilution.
