Has anyone else tried link removal to help with getting back to business after the Penguin update. I fear my love of automated link building has backfired. I've been looking to remove links cost effectively on a decent budget. Has anyone got any suggestions?

if you built links in bulk using automated article marketing etc your only hope for those domains is that the networks get pulled down and the links drop off other wise you are basically buggered and will need to start fresh domains.

That said if google gets around to sorting GWMT with a disavow links tool that would be your only other way out.
