Link sharing plugin a good ide?

Do you use a wordpress plugin to auto-share links or link build? Are they a good idea, or SEO suicide?
What're your thoughts?

SEO Smart Links (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/seo-automatic-links/) is a great plugin for managing/implementing internal links, but I would never recommend using anything that automated outbound/inbound links.

That plugin looks very useful and thankyou for your sage opinion/advice.
I'll learn a bit more about less lazy way of link building.
