Linking to off-site avatar

Hi all

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here but when I try to link to my avatar, I get the following message:

Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

The image in question is here:

I did wonder if it was possibly too large so I tried one that was only 80 pixels wide...

...but encountered the same problem.
