Hi,

Is a link the same as a banner?? meaning for search engine optimisation is it better to by a link or a banner advert?

Would you say its a good idea to buy high profile banners and links from lets say.... www.thisismoney.co.uk?

If your link can come with some sort of associated text all around it - with alt tags too preferably then that is v.good.

Google tries to establish the relevance of incoming links.

It can be done with banners too as long as that text is there.

AFAIK

Banners < Links..

Basically whe aq said above, however, with the text link, you have the anchor text being picked up by google which gives you extra weight.

You also want to think about users - most have some sort of ad blocking software via their AV/Firewall or via a plugin... I'd stick clear of banners as they don't work so well.

Textlinks are the future. A few well placed links can give you a good PR and good rankings :)

not to steal

I am not looking for trade secrets just web guys who want to make money in a fair and amicable way.

I have a good network of investors. I suggest if you think your upto delivering a good deal for me and my investors then I will give you a shout.

If its not fair you will get one website and earn £100 and lose out on my future biz.... send me a private message and I will discuss
