Surely people who splash ten big ones on a domain spend £20 buying up all other available extensions to ensure the inevitable "I have the .org.uk of the domain you just bought, its yours for 2k.

When people ask how to value domains this is a good example of when names can't just be dismissed out of hand. This it seems is a name required by and which serves a purpose for the buyer and by the looks of things was an investment that paid off for a patient seller.
