Live chat

Anyone know of and use any decent software that allows live help chat on a website.

Seen them on loads of websites just wanted to know if anyone uses a (preferably free) live chat allowing them to talk to their customers.

I've tried out CraftySyntax before and seemed to work fine. It's hosted on your own server and is free to use.

I think it's a great product, especially as it costs nothing!

Livezilla is a good choice if you have the server to run it on. If you don't search for live chat providers as there are several that can host the server software for you. Cost should be under $10USD (~6£)
