I am at an impasse as I don’t know what to choose for a LTD company website as I am unsure of the SEO impact.

I have an LLL.org.uk and an LLLConsultancy.co.uk and LLLConsultancy.com and the company name is LLL Consultancy LTD.

I am edging towards LLL.org.uk and forward the other two domains but I am interested what people think?

Go with...

LLLConsultancy.co.uk
LLLConsultancy.com

Redirect the .com to the .co.uk if UK focused. If you plan to target an international audience, redirect the .co.uk to the .com.

Whatever you do, don't use a .org.uk for your main site unless the website is for a charity/group/club or other NFP.

Agree with the above - .org.uk is fine for aff sites but I would never use one for a proper business

Agree with above - co.uk every time for a proper business.

If you were to go with the LLL.org.uk then anyone trying to remember the site a few months down the line is likley to remember the LLL part and probably guess at .com and co.uk but doubt many would even think of trying org.uk.

Bonus of LLLconsultancy though is a search in Google is likley find it ranked fairly high as it is presumably not that competetive a phrase and with an exact match domain shouldn't be difficult to get on page 1. The LLL on the other hand would not be so easy.

Thanks guys for your advice it makes sense when you think about.

As for the lll.org.uk should I just forget about this domain or do some of you use a shorter domain for email addresses.

Thanks Redbird that makes total sense and with a bit of luck I can climb Goolge.

Yes, better to forget it - causes too much confusion if you have one URL for the website and a completely separate one for email (a mistake that I see a lot on the side of vans, for some reason...)
