It's probably a lot more complicated than that given all the different-priced tickets. For example, it might be that the cheapest tickets are 20x oversubscribed but expensive ones are undersubscribed. Time will tell...

they reckon - the total over subscription is 4 x over but, some of the horror (potential) stories included many that had comitted to something like £20,000 for their total allocation if granted.

Your committed to purchase every ticket requested and allocated - although you will have a opportunity to resell any tickets through the official Olympic website from feb 2012 - at the face price (though the bailiff has probably possesed all you own by then)

Must be the most oversubscribed event. Got to be in it to win it though, so I'm looking at it basically as a free to enter lottery with no risk if you don't get allocated tickets.

I didn't apply for any Olympic tickets, seeing it on TV is good enough for me, and I've never heard of Kelly Brook
