Hi Guys

Can you tell me what you think of the home page of lowprices.co.uk at the moment? As it's the Affiliate Window Shop Window software, I can only realistically make minor changes to it, but any feedback re issues and suggestions for improvements are appreciated.

Also, Facebook Likes, Twitter follows and newsletter signups much appreciated. In many cases I will return the favour.

I don't like to be negative but it's pretty poor in my opinion. Logo is poor, layout is poor and having facebook widget doesn't shout professional company to me. I would suggest getting a decent template and using a feed.

I thought you had to change the framework so it doesn't look anything like the standard install which you are using, then get it reviewed and passed. That was the case when I used it a few years ago.

I think the layout is a bit poor and so is the functionality of the website..

For an example... I click on Finance > Insurance > Travel Insurance

And i am presented a list of Travel Adaptors, Travel Kettles and more items which are nowhere related to what i am looking for apart from the fact that they have the word Travel in them.

erm to be brutally honest.... its extremely basic looking, I think you could do with looking at some of the free templates available now for some basic colours/ideas etc

The proper logo has a pound sign in and is shown up the top of the blog. I reckon this logo is OK, and I'll update the home page logo to it.

I agree there are issues with the functionality, but it's an off the shelf solution and that's all I can use really.

I'm starting to get the impression you think these threads will give you some sort of SEO boost, because you don't seem to take much of the advice given and then another thread pops up every month or so...

Without wanting to sound harsh, it looks pretty crap. Even Store Burst would be an improvement looks wise. Also, the categories don't fit the items being found.
