Not a bad price, the only worry is that you could build up a minisite or fan site/portal and then have it taken off you! Some of these stars are very precious about their name ;-)

Yes,had i have been actively bidding on this name i would have done a lot of research before hand.

I'm pretty sure that madonna has many other meanings. As long as you don't do a site dedicated to her, then you'll be ok. But could you really make that site pay without doing that?

Seems cheap though in my opinion.

More than likely just didn't know too much about it, not many on here heard about it to either. Problem with informing them is that you open yourself up for a drs.

Maybe.. Thought they had been trying to sell it for years and (like many wanted to much)They ran a look alike type comp since 2001 would have thought that would have been more near to a open and shut drs but they are in Barnsley maybe they all dress like that up there ….

Now i wouldn't have offered £50 for it and £865 seems a bit much now :shock:

After reading the explanation as to why the person who had madonna.com lost his name I think it was the right decision to sell madonna.co.uk - the DRS requires pretty solid evidence that you had a legitimate use for the name.
