The great thing about sales like this is domainers are the only ones which normally speculate whether it was a real sale or not? and those conversions tend to just stay on forums like this which is good imo... Whereas the general public will just see the £75,000 figure thrown around which is great publicity for the .co.uk market

Might be good for sellers - not much help when I'm making good offers to people who don't know the market!

They look at 'sales' like this and assume their domain is worth a fortune...
 
Without looking, I wouldn't have been 100% confident on the spelling of this one, so it fails the "great brand name" test for me.
