Maybe this is a good compromise

Not for me. I don't feel the need for an ultra expensive Swiss timepiece, I would just buy an Apple watch. The two watch faces on one strap is a bit silly in my opinion.

I can see the emergence of the smartwatch is going to be an issue for Swiss manufacturers, but the way forward is collaboration with Apple and Android.

I don't think the "smart watches" are going to make the slightest bit of difference to the high end watches to be honest.

Id personally rather have a nice expensive looking watch which tells the time ( ironically ) over some twatty cheap looking smart watch which does everything apart from make me a cuppa tea.

Having said that i love my iphone.......but i do very little else on it other than make calls, send the occasional text and pick up mail when im out and about.......So im not really a techy mobile user of any sort.

The people buying Apple Watches sure as hell want you to know they have one, they'd more likely have the Swiss timepiece on the underside. So this is just a silly concept really.

Im leaning more to it just being a bit of marketing PR.
