Hi,

Are mis-spelled domains worth registering?

For example, would it be worth registering a domain such as "wierdo.co.uk" when it's actually spelled "weirdo" - i ask because these are common mis-spellings

Thanks

Mat.

Commonly known as a typo domain.

If you intend to park a few names then yes, a few typos in the mix can be financially worthwhile.

Depending on the traffic it receives, it may be worth registering.

I wouldn't suggesting developing a typo, Trademark issues or not.

It depends how you play it.

Obviously Google isnt the best example to use, im just saying that would be one of the perfect money makers if you could get away with it

I've got ceasarspalace.info because a lot of people think that this is the correct spelling of caesarspalace.

Similar to phoenix, a lot of people thinks it's pheonix.

Largely depends on the word(s) but sometimes typo's of a popular word are better than correctly spelt words that are useless....obviously:D
