I don't care if the domain is ugly as long as it has more than 1,000 monthly search volume... How many search volume can you consider to say domain is a good choice?

There's no simple answer to that. I've registered (and continue to) domains with zero/very low results. Search volume is just one of many factors to consider. Just because the search volume is > 1000 doesn't necessarily make it good, or even worth the reg fee.

We'd all prefer domains with high search volumes, but sometimes the only way into a competitive field is to register a domain with a low search volume. That or buy an already registered domain, but then of course the cost will be appropriately higher...

I have some with very little UK exacts eg, 560 per month however I think the domains are good >

Smallinvestment(s)#co#uk
Largeinvestment(s)#co#uk

I'm yet to get round to selling them :?

I try for 3k UK exacts per month for every month with a product selling for at least £20

I read a keyword research guide from a top marketer saying a good niche domain must have at least 500 exact search result per month.. That's for the main keyword of course..
