thanks for the reply, because of lack of input i have accepted an offer via sedo for the domain, can i just say how getting an appraisal on this site is hard work,i never park at sedo but i decided that whilst i was building other sites i would try my luck there,i would have appreciated some input from people that use sedo regularly,it does make the board better with input, don't you think......

very confused regular

There are few end user sales of .eu and the same could be said for org.uk if you remove the usual domainer/developers so to appraise something with little/no demand is almost impossible imo and no surprise that most org.uk & .eu appraisals go unanswered.

You could almost give an auto-generated reply to them all of £1 to £1000 depends if you get lucky and a motivated buyer. Same with .mobi which they are dropping in their masses, there isn't the same appetite for them in this market.

unfortunately Scott,it doesnt matter what domain is listed there isn't a response,i know lee used to comment on everything on these boards before he was booted off,but at least he responded and told you his opinion,i know you regularly trawl these appraisals and thank you for it,saying that the sales boards are slow it must be the "recession" fever.

Everyone has quite differing views on the values of domain names, as one man's meat is another man's poison. Even experienced domainers could differ in their opinion of the same domain.

I think it's incredibly difficult to put a monetary value on any domain, as there are so many factors involved. That's why there is no automated system that can give an accurate response, and that's why people come here looking for an appraisal in the first place!!!

If it was easy, then every price on here would be accurate and sales would be fast and furious, even in a "recession".

My view is that a domain is worth what someone is willing to pay for it on a given day. A domain could be worth £xxx one week, then £xx the next, depending on how quickly a domainer wants to "flip" it.

Just my two cents, whether it's right or wrong!?! ;-)

Calum.
