I can't think of watching an England side play as bad as this, I was feeling confident after the group matches, not now, this is a bad Italy side and England are being played off the park by them, can't even string simple passes together, atrocious, now the fun of penalties, got to win on penalties some time, due a change of luck.

Didn't like that ad anyway, him stopping a penalty by Van Persie

I think England played well.. Was a bit dissapointed by the bbc after the match, they were sort of downtalking England where I think they did a really good job and played a really good game.

Anyone agrees? Or disagrees?

Think they were spot on. We gave them all the time and space to do what they liked for pretty much the entire 2nd half and extra time. Then, when we did get the ball, it was lost in seconds.

Italy are ripping them to shreds, I did say earlier in the topic that I thought the German machine was a bit broken, but didn't expect them to be 2-0 down at this point.

It could happen, I can't help thinking this score is flattering the Italians. I can't get my head around I am willing the Germans on especially after the chippy incident.

Yes, definitely not over yet, but the German machine needs to have had a service and turbos added at half time

, if they can get a goal in the first 10 minutes of the second half, that could do 2 things, either the Italians will then start defending in numbers, which will result in more German shots at goal from distance, or the Italians carry on attacking and hopefully get caught on the break.
