I have been lurking on AD for about 9-6 months. In that time I have caught a glimpse of some of the characters who post on this site. And I must say I am thankful for the advice that has been dished out, words of wisdom that have helped shape my space and strategy in domaining.
Of course the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Let's see if I can put into practice all that I have learnt.
Looking forward to interacting and getting to know everyone.
BEST / WORST DOMAIN NAMES
viagra.biz
About 2 years ago I went through a phase of registering trademarked domain names, probably about 50 of these names. I know schoolboy error.
The weird thing is that in all my amateur enthusiasm I actually managed to hand reg Viagra.biz. I was thrilled. I parked the domain and I was getting about £10 per month. I was chaffed. However my joy was short lived, about 4 months after registering it I got a cease and desist letter from some lawyers based in Switzerland.
To be honest I was sh****g myself, I have never been in trouble with the law. To cut a long story short I gave up the name.
However I framed the letter I received, a reminder that domaining has rules.
So I have bitter sweet memories of viagra
and I would say viagra.biz it is my best and worst domain name.
