There have been some minor changes, and I will do a bit more customisation.

This is v3 of the ShopWindow Client software, and there is a minimum commission performance required over the first 3 months, so I thought I'd better start promoting it ...

No offence but this is hardly a website to review ? it is an out the box system with a logo placed at the top left hand corner.

I preferred the other ugly sites you have asked for reviews on

There are so many Price Comparison sites that you really need to come up with a unique idea/content rich site and then start adding the price comparison.

Why will someone use yours over the others? How will people find yours in the search engines if there are so many well established sites with the same products?

Just something to think about if you want it to really work.

Sometimes it's tough being a web developer ... you have to have a thick skin ... but I appreciate the feedback nevertheless. I agree the home page looks a bit blank at present ...

Yep, this is the main point. Design wise it doesn’t really matter, for this type of sites, how it converts is important.

Part of the agreement to use this is the requirement to 'skin' it so it doesn't have the look of the standard v3 shop window.

Just adding a logo doesn't cut it and so this is likely not to be accepted as a like commision-generating site.

I have modified the look slightly, although it's very subtle. For instance, the Search button is mine, and I've changed the links to be underlined, whereas in standard ShopWindow they're not. The "Click For List of UK's Top Online Stores!" is also unique.

Whilst not major changes, they have been enough to get the site approved for probation mode, and I now have three months to make the minimum £75 of commission required ... so, if anyone is looking to buy anything today, maybe you could try some price comparison At Best Prices

Regarding my design, I rather like it, and I keep things simple on purpose ... I find it helps with conversion.
